Dumfries deliver
Dumfries Delivery Office held a collection for the Dumfries and Galloway Standard toy appeal. They raised a fantastic £690 and had various toys donated. Main organisers Jamie Hughes, Ross Corbett and Tony Trainor are pictured. The team would like to thank all who contributed, including Toytown and Waterstones.
Winter Wonderland
The Royal Mail Ladies Choir wanted to spread some festive cheer this Christmas while supporting our charity partner, Action for Children. This virtual choir knew it wasn’t going to be possible for them to sing together live, so they recorded themselves singing Winter Wonderland. Praise for Parcelforce
Parcelforce colleagues at NWPC have been busy raising for four charities this year: Christies Cancer Research Fund, Air ambulance service, Chorley homeless and our in-house Rowland Hill Fund. They have raised more than £4,000, much of which has come from its own tuck shop! Going further, they have donated sleeping bags and food to a local food bank to help those in need on Christmas Day.
Trust in us
Colleagues at National Distribution Centre VOC have been making a difference all year in support of Trussell Trust foodbank - giving more than 150 bags of food and a £500 donation, since January. For Christmas, they have gone further, with 220 bags donated and a £750 donation. They were supported by Atherstone VOC, and colleagues at the RDC and NDC.
