Boycott your Bed FAQ's
How do I sign up for Boycott your Bed?
Click here to sign up. Here you will find all the information you need to take part!
How do I donate online?
Create your own fundraising page on SponsorMe, however please follow the instructions here before you do so to make sure your fundraising can be matched. Royal Mail will match funds raised up to a total of £25,000.
You can only use Sponsor Me for your online fundraising. If any other pages are used, they will not be eligible for matched funding.
What if I cannot sleep out on Friday 21st August?
Although the virtual event will be taking place on this date, you could still sign up and boycott your bed on a different night that week. You could have a video call with some of your colleagues if they are also ditching the duvet on the same night!
Where will my fundraising go?
All your fundraising will go towards Action for Children’s Blues Programme. This preventative mental health programme provides techniques to support young people with their mental health both now and in the future. Thanks to Royal Mail, over 5,000 young people have completed the Blues Programme. More information can be found here.
Can I sleep anywhere?
Although Boycott your Bed encourages you to find an unusual or different place to sleep in your home, it’s important for you to check the location you plan to sleep in is suitable and safe. Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are sufficiently fit and healthy to take part in the event. If you are unsure of your physical ability to take part, please seek medical advice from your GP prior to boycotting your bed.
