Royal Mail and Alzheimer’s Research UK are working together throughout World Alzheimer’s Month this September.

Dementia, most commonly caused by Alzheimer’s, describes a group of symptoms including memory loss, confusion, mood changes and difficulty with day-to-day tasks. Dementia currently affects 850,000 people in the UK – a number which is projected to increase.

More than half of the British public (52%) know someone who has been diagnosed with a form of dementia.
