Our Business Standards: understanding what’s expected to do the best job we can

Our Business Standards are the standards of behaviour we expect to see from all colleagues at Royal Mail Group. It’s about following the law, doing the right thing and treating others with respect.

The Our Business Standards booklet has been mailed to all frontline colleagues. The online version has also been updated and is available to view on myroyalmail.com – click here - or via PSP in the Our Business Standards section of the Policy & Information site.  

Please take some time to read through the leaflet when you receive it this week. It’s important that we all understand the behaviour that is expected of us in order to do the best job we can for our customers, maintain the important role that we play within the communities we serve, and safeguard the business and each other.  

We can all help to grow trust at the doorstep and build the right culture by applying good judgement, following our policies, being honest and speaking up when things don’t seem quite right.
