Our posties see some wonderful sights on their rounds – but how many walk above the clouds to deliver their mail?
That’s what happened to Abergavenny postman, Ian Milne, and he couldn’t let the opportunity pass! He posted a picture of his stunning view and entered our Workplace-exclusive #pictureperfect competition.

He made it to the final five out of the scores of entries throughout the month of June and was voted by Workplace users as the victor in a poll of the shortlisted finalists. Now, a new iPad is on its way to him.
‘I’m delighted to have won the June competition,’ says Ian. ‘I can't believe there are so many colleagues who liked and voted for my picture. I would like to thank all who voted.
‘The photo was taken from the Sugarloaf Mountain looking over to the Blorange Mountain in Abergavenny, which is part of the Brecon Beacons National Park, when out on my delivery.
‘As I was driving to my next call, seeing the sun so bright above the low-lying cloud, it was an opportunity not to be missed. With having just registered on Workplace, I thought I would upload my photo and never expected it to be in the top five – never mind winning!
‘I would encourage anyone with any photos to give the competition a go, as you never know!’
The July competition is already underway. All you need to do to take part is post your picture in the Team Royal Mail group and use #pictureperfect with your post. Those with the most ‘likes’ at the end of each month will be shortlisted for a final vote to win a new iPad.
You have to activate your Workplace account to take part, of course. Click here to find out how.
