Week on Workplace

The Workplace Week

They say that a week is a long time in politics – but as more and more people join Workplace, so much is happening that it’s becoming a long time there too.

Here are some of the highlights from the past seven days.

Worthy Workplace winner

Narberth postwoman Anto O’Hara was crowned our inaugural #pictureperfect winner.

The Workplace-exclusive competition started in May, and sees colleagues posting pictures from their working day.

Click here to see the top five images from May. Please note no more votes will be counted – but you can now post your pictures in the Team Royal Mail group using #pictureperfect for your chance to win an iPad in June’s competition.

Carers Week

It’s Carers Week this week – from Monday 7 June until Sunday 13 June. Look out for information and click here to visit the Parents and Carers Group on Workplace.

On a mission

The Rowland Hill Fund’s mission is to help postal people in need with practical, proactive support. Know someone who could benefit from some extra help?

Weathering the storm

Wondering how the new PDAs will perform in the rain? Postman Michael Jarman-Webb, based at Bedford Delivery Office, has posted a video showing how the new kit performs in a Great British downpour. Click here to view his video on Workplace.

Have your say

The BAME and Friends Network is looking for a new name to represent their group. Click here to take part in the democratic process and register your preferred choice of name. The poll will close at 23:59 on Friday 11 June.
