‘The good news is there is help available at Royal Mail’

A major push as part of this year’s Carers Week is highlighting the resources and help available to unpaid carers – some of whom may not even recognise that they are, in fact, a carer.

Mike Price, chair of Parents and Carers Network in Royal Mail, says the main objective is to encourage support, while promoting a culture of inclusiveness.

‘Not one of our care scenarios is the same and you don’t know what pressures someone is under,’ says Mike.

‘Our remit is helping colleagues with caring responsibilities to successfully navigate their work commitments, while fulfilling their care duties.’
