A focus on the future takes centre stage in the summer issue of Courier, which is on its way to you this week.
The tagline for what is the third edition of our quarterly magazine format follows CEO Simon Thompson’s message of ‘we are changing. And it’s working’ and gives the lowdown on how.
Simon writes exclusively in his column about the progress we’re making and shares his priorities moving forward.
It’s the turn of chief commercial officer, Nick Landon, to take the hotseat for The Big Interview. Nick runs with the change narrative and looks ahead to a bright future, while taking a moment to take stock of just how much the company has achieved in the past 18 months alone.
‘It’s the fastest pace of change I can ever remember – and all during a worldwide pandemic,’ he will tell Courier readers.
Our frontline editorial panellists – more about them later this week – have been busy gathering content and keeping the issue relevant, while, for the first time Parcelforce Worldwide colleagues will begin to receive Courier. As a welcome, operations director Jamie Stephenson gives his take on the summer ahead for Parcelforce colleagues.
We speak to the colleagues who helped Prime Minister Boris Johnson host the G7 summit in St Ives and Carbis Bay, touch base with a happy customer of RM Relay and bring you an easy-to-use three-month calendar of key dates.
Plus much, much more, including your usual chances to win prizes through our competitions.
‘It’s always a big deal when a new issue of Courier lands,’ says editor and senior channels manager, Paul Smith. ‘More than ever, we’re focusing on making sure it is a fully inclusive publication, aligning to the company’s overall strategy.
‘That’s why I’m delighted we’ve added Parcelforce colleagues to the overall readership. This business is one team and everything in the magazine should reflect that. Every piece should be relevant to everyone in some way – or, at the very least, there should be something in there for everyone. I truly believe there is.’
The summer edition of Courier will begin landing at colleagues’ homes from Friday 2 July. The conversation will continue on the Courier page on Workplace too, which you can access by clicking here.
