Easter-themed postbox toppers have been making a welcome appearance in Kent – check out our gallery.

Easter-themed toppers have been popping up in Kent - adding an egg-stra special seasonal dimension to postboxes in the area, writes Zoe Walker.

Trainee manager, Daniel Manton, of Rochester delivery office in Kent, sent us a batch of pics showing just how busy and creative yarnbombers have been in the area.

‘They’re popping up all around Maidstone and in Gravesend too. The earliest sighting was in Maidstone,’ says Daniel.

‘They appear overnight and stay during seasonal events. They were spotted first by the Covid-19 collections and appear to be on priority.

‘My team are calling it Crochefitti - not sure how to spell that, but it’s a mix between “graffiti” and “crochet.”

‘It’s definitely a morale booster because they jump in the WhatsApp group and proudly state they got one!’
