#UKSAYSNOMORE - Together we can end domestic abuse

UK SAYS NO MORE is calling on its supporters to help raise awareness of domestic abuse and sexual violence during NO MORE Week, which takes place from Sunday 7 March to Saturday 13 March.

During Covid-19, home has not always been a safe place for everyone. Hestia’s report ‘Domestic Abuse in Lockdown’ shows an almost 50 per cent increase in users of the Bright Sky support app and a near 40 per cent jump in the number of people trying to access their domestic abuse services. The need to support those experiencing domestic abuse is all the more urgent during the pandemic.

Royal Mail is a proud supporter of Hestia and UKSAYSNOMORE. Last September we launched Online Safe Spaces (OSS). Since then, OSS is now live across more than 20 websites, including Network Rail, Thames Water, and Post Office providing information and support for those experiencing domestic abuse. Click here to read more about OSS.

If you are interested in raising money to support UKSAYNOMORE, you can strap on your running shoes and head out on a 5 or 10k run at any point during NO MORE Week.

UKSAYSNO MORE are asking those running 5k to try and raise a minimum of £50, and those running a 10k to try and raise £100. All funds raised will go towards supporting women and children who are affected by domestic abuse.
