Making a positive impact to diversity and inclusion – join our new BAME Facebook group

To bolster a greater connection amongst our workforce and to continue support for our BAME colleagues, the BAME steering group has launched a brand-new Facebook group.

The group is open to all Royal Mail colleagues, so please join up to provide the motivation and support to develop a strong social network. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with other members from across the country, engage in discussion about BAME-related topics and enjoy the latest news and updates from the steering group.

‘Making our business a place where black, Asian and minority ethnic colleagues can achieve their full potential and be their true self remains a priority,’ says senior operations manager and chair of the BAME steering group, Crispin Bacchus.

‘Career progression is a key focus as we work towards improving the representation of BAME colleagues across all levels of the business. Let’s celebrate that and keep the conversation going’.

Joining is easy! Simply scan the QR code in the picture to access the Facebook page.

To join the group, you will be asked to provide the following:

  • Pay number
  • Full name
  • Confirmation of support for the LGBTQ+, Disability and all other minority identity communities
  • Agree to Royal Mail Group rules.

When using social media both in a business and personal capacity, colleagues should be mindful of what they communicate. Please refer to the social media guide for further information.
