Missing People

In November 2014, we teamed up with the charity Missing People to provide additional eyes and ears in the search for vulnerable individuals up and down the country. We support the search for vulnerable, high-risk missing people by sending location-specific alerts through our network of handheld Postal Digital Assistants (PDAs) and business television screens. We also provide a donation to fund Missing People’s Child Rescue Alert system. To date we have issued over 200 alerts to our people. Our support funds a 24-hour, seven-days-a-week, 365-days-a-year alert system specifically for children that have been abducted, or who are believed to be in immediate danger.

The Prince’s Trust

We fund a mental health advisor role at The Prince’s Trust - a charity that supports young people into jobs, education and training. The advisor is responsible for planning and implementing improvements to the way the charity supports young people with mental health issues.

In 2018-19 the role was responsible for promoting mental health literacy training for The Princes Trust Team programme for 16-25 year olds. The launch of this training marks the biggest change in mental health and wellbeing activities in the history of the Trust. As a result of this training, young people joining the Team programme will have an opportunity to talk about their mental health and their challenges, build their own resilience and learn about self-care.
