Golden girl Jessica Ennis wins the women's heptathlon 800m and we capture the rapture with a gold medal stamp.
Adding to a sensational super Saturday for TeamGB, Jessica smashed her own British record finishing in two minutes 8.65 seconds with 6955 points.
We will be printing millions of stamps overnight to enable customers to celebrate Jessica's triumph. The stamps will be on sale by lunchtime tomorrow in over 500 Post Offices across the UK including three branches in Jessica’s home town of Sheffield.
An additional 4,700 Post Offices will receive the gold medal stamps within a week.
We’ll also be painting a red post box gold in Jessica's home town of Sheffield to celebrate her gold medal victory.
