Weir on a stamp!
We've produced another stamp to honour David Weir’s gold medal triumph in the Athletics: Track Men’s 5000m – T54 final.
The stamps will be on sale tomorrow in over 500 Post Offices across the UK. Residents of David’s hometown of Wallington will be able to buy the stamps at Wallington Post Office, 1 - 2 Ross Parade, Wallington, SM6 8QL.
Going for four golds!
On Monday he began his bid for a second gold medal of the London Paralympics by safely qualifying for the final of the 1500 metres.
The 33-year-old sent the decibel levels at the Olympic Stadium through the roof by claiming a brilliant victory on Sunday night and his return to the track was greeted by another huge ovation.
