It promises to be the greatest celebration of British sporting triumphs in history – and we’re going to be in the thick of the action.
More than 40 of our employees who played a part in our involvement with London 2012 will be part of the victory parade to honour and celebrate the achievements of Team GB and ParalympicsGB.
Around a million people are expected to line the streets as 800 or so Olympians and Paralympians travel on floats past some of the capital’s famous landmarks.
Walking alongside them will be our people proudly parading the stamps we issued for every British gold medal winner.
Five of our people will also have some of the best seats in the house reserved for VIPs – recognising Royal Mail’s major contribution to this summer’ sporting spectacular.
